The new stay and play wireless fence is a small, rechargeable system that provides an adjustable 3/4 of an acre circular boundary for your pet anywhere you go. The lightweight wireless transmitter is less than half the size of the previous PetSafe wireless fence and has no wires to bury. The waterproof, rechargeable receiver collar is ergonomically designed for your pets comfort, and offers 5 levels of static correction plus a tone-only mode for training. With the ease of setup, this system is perfect for traveling with your pet. The stay and play is also compatible with the original pif-300, and allows you to expand your wireless coverage. To use, simply plug in the wireless radio transmitter in the center of the area you designate for your pet. Mark the boundary zone with the included flags to teach your pet where he or she is allowed to roam. Then place the receiver collar on your pet. The system will deliver a warning beep as your pet nears the boundary zone marked by the flags, and if your pet crosses the zone the collar will give a safe, static correction. With a little training, your pet will soon understand to avoid the boundary zone and will be safely contained within your yard. You can also contain a second dog with this system, simply by adding an additional stay and play receiver collar (second collar sold separately). The receiver collar included in the stay and play is waterproof and fits dogs 5-pound or larger with neck sizes of 6-23-inch. For use in the US only. This unit is compatible with all US 110v outlets and are not to be used with 220v international voltage.

Three Ways to Use Dog Containment Devices

!±8± Three Ways to Use Dog Containment Devices

At the end of a long day, you are looking forward to come home and enjoy all the gusto and excitement your dog could muster to welcome you. In fact, the moment you see your dog in such a happy frenzy, all the stresses of your day would dissipate like they never existed for you anyway. However, as wonderful as it is to come home to a loving dog, it is equally depressing and frustrating to come home to a complaint about your beloved pet. Almost every owner has come across this kind of situation where, at their arrival at home, they were greeted with a complaint related to their pet behavior instead of enjoying his welcome. Such stressful situations can be easily avoided through the simple use of dog containment devices like the electronic collar.

The electronic collar is one of the more humane ways of training your dog, despite the misconception that people have about it. The truth is that many dogs are lost or injured nowadays, and none of them was wearing an electronic collar. There are primarily three things that electronic collars can help you with. Consider the following.

1. The electronic fence There are many risks your dog can take if left to roam the region around the house you have at the country. Most dogs are curious and like to play with other animals, and even if they don't want to do any harm, the livestock, yours or others, may be scared and run away. This can result in a poor reputation and even a collective decision of the residents there to get rid of your dog. Other dangers lurk the dogs of people living in the urban area, where some car in the traffic can run over a dog wandering free. All these problems can be stopped by dog containment devices like the electronic collar. The electronic collar set at minimum is the best to train your dog to stay within a certain area.

2. Remote training If your dog is not properly trained, you may encounter some problems on the daily walking, as he may not listen to your commands while playing with other dogs, and he may go away. And if he does not pay attention to traffic as he didn't pay attention to your commands, he may be hurt or killed. The remote trainers would allow you to keep your dog in check when you take him out for a walk and the best part is that you would only have to use the shock button once or twice.

3. Anti bark collars One of the most common complaints that a dog owner gets after coming home is that his dog barked too much while he was away. And you will receive a lot of complains from your neighbours if he barks during the night. You can easily train your dog not to bark too much or at inadequate hours using the safe bark control collars.

You can use dog containment devices to train your dog many other things. With remote trainers, you can actually train your dog to do or not do anything without even hurting him too much. All the electronic collars need to issue only two or three shocks.
